I have read many interesting and older threads here that date to 2005-06 and found that most members who were active then are banned.I assume it is a permanent ban because I have never seen them active in this forum and I've been active for some time now.

I know they were banned for a reason.They would regret it.So, why not give them a second chance???

Why not unban all the banned ids and welcome them all back with open arms ?

i must admit no one has ever made this suggestion that i'm aware of and i seriously doubt that will happen.

 

maybe not all banned members but one's who added some good value to the forum and got banned due to one mistake?

 

I don't think mods will be agreed with this idea..Also mods give warning and infraction to make you alert about your mistake..I guess they were making mistakes continuously and got banned..It is only upto to the administrators to think about it!

 

Permanent banned means they made duplicate accounts. That's a big problem when we deal in businesses. So this a golden rule to skip those kind of persons from this great forum. We must be honest as we can. I think Mod's will agree to unban those people.

I am not sure if the banning of people based on duplicate ids is fool-proof either.I have seen some very good members here who have been banned for duplicate ids.

They get so dejected and embarrassed that they don't return and post in the forums even after the ban is lifted. It's so sad. I've seen people.

Those spammers and scammers that we are talking about probably won't even remember their username / pass now. Only the genuine members will return and that is also not certain as i said before.

 

This is not going to happen , but i suppose there could be an e-mail for banned members to contact and urban their userid . and they don't have to make duplicate accounts to ask to unban their userid

 

I would imagine that if they wanted to come back that badly that would have created a new account with a new ip address , new email etc.

Yeah, sure. And while we are at it, let's just open up the gates on all of the prisons and let all the convicts out as well.... I'm sure now that they have been locked up for a while, they probably turned into good people.

If they were "very good" members, then they wouldn't be creating duplicate accounts in the first place.

 

If you say Plz because its shorter than please, then we will answer no since its shorter than yes.

 

That actually does happen in almost every country. Other than the conventional pardon certain prisoners are also released on B'days of leader/kings etc.

So may be next September...

One of my friend who have banned here since some one have hijacked his email account and his big DP account since he spended a lot of time in this forum mate
He got nearly 1100 posts and some amount of iTrader and Reps

However he was lucky to get this gmail account by contacting Google India but he have tried to email the mod's to get back his Dp account but none replied properly he also sent the proof's too.

So he was so depressed since at the time there was no option to contact Admin's and Co Admins he have even tried to contact via phone but none said their phone number

After all these he didn't tried to create a another account since he said that "What will be the probablity that even my second account wouldn't get blocked even i do good"
He also told me that "I am so frustated.... why no DP Mod's understand the situation... Do you know that how pain is to get a good hand some amount of posts, iTrades, reps etc, All these things are crushed in a single click "

I was even on a sorrow mind on that day but now-a-day's he just used to browse around DP as just a guest for few mins everyday since he told me that he have learned a Lot from Dp but missing it now

Atlast now he have joined in a Warrior Forum and some other good webmaster forums making good name there too.

Anyway still he love Dp and i too.

I said something different.I said that your method of identifying people who have duplicate ids is not fool proof and frankly, most duplicate ids are created just to get back access to the forums, to make posts and do business.Even that is actually forced on them.Why?????? Once banned, they cannot contact the mods.
