Plz help me - Transferring Web Hosting

I am changing my web host. I have transferred my files and databases.

How to transfer emails??

 

Are you going to a system with a control panel? The answer to that question will depend on what you are transferring from and what you are transferring to.

For example, if you are transferring from linux cPanel to linux cPanel you can restore a full website backup that will restore your email accounts as well. If you are transferring from a windows to linux there is a whole different method to do this.

I would suggest you contact your new host about this, most times they will transfer your site to them for free. They would also be the best ones to answer the question as to how to do it, since they know the server setup.

You should download full backup from your control panel and provide it to your hosting provider. They can restore all your emails, files, databases etc. directly from root

 

That is why I make all my clients use POP3 if they have no need for IMAP.. losing emails is scary!

 

I will suggest to contact your hosting provider to transfer.

 

you can backup your emails via a full backup i beleiver otherwise download them or ask provider
