Hey friends... i was just surfing on web and found this site: http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives...indows-local-administrator-and-user-password/ Just look at end of this page... below comment box which says something like: "Top incoming search terms for this post" I just wanna know how to put this on my site (what's the procedure) and does this help in attracting traffic from search engine since there are so many keywords listed. Thanks in advance.
Having 50+ links on Page A pointing back to Page A looks a little bit like spam to me. And having all of those keywords that you'd likely want that page to rank for looks a LOT like keyword stuffing to me. Personally, I would be a bit leary about using such a widget. I'm not sure those are keywords that were actually used to find that particular page via a search engine or not. It could be a widget that uses a custom user defined field in WP so that when the guy creates a post, he enters a list of keyword phrases that he "thinks" users should or "hopes" users will use to find the post. Then the widget could simply convert the entire keyword phrase list to links all pointing to the current page. Or then again, it could be a widget that is looking at entries in the web logs to get the keyword phrases from the referring URL when the referring domain is a search engine.
