    Hello all,
I seen so much bashing and unprofessional behaviour by few (me included :p) that i decided to open this thread to get an honest and bashless opinion.

Plz. if you paid for the deeplink mod by mr rob, do not say its good and what not, please provide us all with the exact features it has.

Here are features that free deeplink mod has :

    1. Admin Edit Feature to add/remove deeplinks from specific links.
    2. End user options to add deeplinks.
    3. Validation of deeplinks when submitted (it is however flawed does not work properly on 2.0 version works good with 2.1.2 and onwards atleast on my server).
    4. Detail pages extra links displayed, or for 2.0 additional links displayed on links display (that is for those who do not have detailed pages on version 2.0). Example
    5. Title and Url displayed in admin panel when approving links for the deeplinks submitted.
    6. And ofcourse the magical appearance of deeplink mods urls on click of featured or regular links for example (if you do not understand this part check http://www.h-log.com/submit.php ).

First free version that came out was by rachka which i took the liberty to modify it for version 2 of phpld.

Alright so please tell me what features does paid deeplink mod has, that the free version does not. Please do not talk about support or efforts taken to install the mod, i am only interested in FEATURES, nothing more nothing less.

Thanks for reading and posting. Plz refrain from bashing, i will be forced to report the user who bashes anyone in this thread, i am getting bored of all the bashing.

There are differences in the MODs, and that's just about all that needs to be known.

I guess everything can't be stripped afterall.

So, now, we can watch the thread die out, as I think the forums have had enough of this crap already.

Bad british bad.. I doubt it will be closed (if it does i will be so disappointed), someone with decency will report the features in time, wait does no one has freedom to disclose that info ?

Whats so wrong with not mentioning the features ? If its better than free deeplink mod why not mention them ?

So, wait if i pay rob now 100$ i can post the features, hmm, why did i not think of that before. :p

The features you specified for the free version are similar to that of paid version so maybe its the additional support and installation that your are being charged for OR am I missing something?

I don't see anything wrong with this thread to be reported. I think he is just willing to find out the difference in features between paid and free version of deeplinks mod. I never used the deeplinks myself so i can't exactly tell the difference but since Rob is offering the paid version he can better explain this.

I think at the moment the only difference is installation and support, as you get lifetime upgrades maybe in the future you get extra functionality.

Thanks agent, but i guess rob is not interested in letting us all know the features, but like ask said probably just the installation and support part is different.

    Cheers

Well in that case you don't need any support or pay for installation if you know what you are doing or to be more specific, if you are a coder or got a little knowledge of PHP/smarty you can easily install the fully functional free version. Since we all know that not every directory owner is a coder so its better to spend some money on installation and future upgrades but thats just my opinion. :)
