hi, Currently I'm working as a PHP Developer but I want switch at oracle or database...... So plz suggest me what can I do (which type course)........ Is this possible that in any company entry as a fresher.............. plz help me.........
What sort of database person do you want to be? A DBA that is as much about maintaining the server as it is about writing the procedures? An ETL expert for the more advanced programming aspects? Reporting for the lighter programming and more tools based?
I'm interested in DBA. So how can I found entry in this field. entry is possible as a fresher or required any courses. plz help me.......
A DBA will be server specific so select the platform you want to be an expert at and get an accredited qualification for that technology, so something like a Oracle Certified Professional if its Oracle you want to be using etc. You certainly can start without training but your more going to be doing things like helpline support for a year or two before starting to specialise and move towards becoming a DBA
