Pluto demoted

    Poor Pluto. Pluto used to be one of my nine favorite planets. Now I am hearing there are 12 planets and Pluto isn't one of them.

    How would you like to be a planet for 80 years than you pick up your morning paper and bam you're some big cold rock, nothing more. What a bummer for the little guy!

    And I thought I had a bad day on Monday.

    Walt Disney would not be very happy!!!! Poor pet Pluto!!!!

    All of us that went to school will have to die off before Pluto loses it's title as a planet!!!!

    nice article. but if pluto's oblong orbit overlaps with Neptune's then why not demote neptune?

    8 planets. pluto is demoted. pluto, xens, ceres and another one are dwarf planets.

    If Neptune is in play that means that other planet next to Neptune should be up for review. I say rename that planet as Pluto. I never did like that name.

    This is a question but since Pluto is the major planet and the bigger one and since it looks like pluto interferes with Neptune and not vice versa...therefore Neptune is spared:confused:
