I just don't understand, I am getting less and less earnings, the last 2 days I have dropped under a buck a day, lol
After having had my sites online since 2001 and with adsense since before last Christmas.

Am I the only one that is falling....... a LOT ? I just can't understand it, is it the prime summer time or what ?

I've noticed my earnings drop over the last year or so, even though I now have more sites with Adsense running. At my best guess people are getting used to the text ads format over time and ignoring them like they did when we had graphical banners - I know I'm nearly blind to Google Ads now.

Whats dropping besides your earnings? Impressions? CTR? or only amount per click??

That's a nice looking site, Swordfish! I wish I had the time and the coin to do that stuff.

Thanks badtigger - I'm actually working on a redesign, that will feature some will be cleaner and feature an rss feed for the articles.

Site does about 800-1000 visitors a day, but I'd like 4x's that by the end of year!

Have your rankings dropped, or is it just your click through? For reasons unknown to me my old site fell from the top 2-3 position to, on good days, the bottom of page two. Part of the problem for me is that I now compete with Microsoft for one of my terms :(

I bought one of the adwords marketing books and the author spends a lot of time teaching advertisers how to get as good or better results without getting into bidding wars for expensive terms. That kind of advice may be making advertisers smarter.

For me the killer was google seemed to do a lot of changing of SER. I have over 40 mini sites that had many terms in the top 1 - 5 spots on the first pages of search returns. Then the past couple months or so...... boom most of my pages and search returns have dissapeard or are pushed back to page 40 or so where nobody sees them to even click and visit my site(s) anymore, so my adsense clicks of course have plummeted now and my website traffic to almost nothing.

I don;t understand why google did it, all my sites and content were done by hand coding, using no 'content generating software' or anything, and i have tons of sites linking back....... And many of my sites were on the net since 2001 and I update them a lot..... go figure

Thank god for MSN and yahoo anyway

This isn't even an adsense issue... its a google rankings issue.
