I downloaded the Subscribe to This plugin, and activated it. I drag the widget into the sidebar however, it doesn't show on the site. The site recognizes that there is something thing when i highlight where the widget it supposed to be. I am using Wordpress 2.1 and suggestions?
Check to see if there is an upgrade for the plugin if not then try upgrading Word Press to the latest version, making a backup first of course.

For wordpress, did you use fantastico? If so, you can auto upgrade if your host has the latest version. I am assuming that the plugin isn't compatible with the version of wordpress you are using. Try and contact the author, or reinstall the pluigin
there is a plugin which you can use to backup your database. here is the url: http://ilfilosofo.com/blog/wp-db-backup but i really suggest you to upgrade your wp to latest version. -cypher.

Hi, There is a nice Feedburner plugin that works well and has been tested enough that it should work for you. It is the only reader plugin that I would recommend. I have had lots of problems with WP plugins, WP 2.2, and especially the widgets when combined with other plugins - e.g. WP-Cache. I think the WP architecture is becoming pretty unwieldy and difficult to stabilize - and secure. My approach nowadays is to go minimalist. If Wordpress does not bring some of the more common plugin functions into the core, I think things will get worse before they get better. Rich
