Good afternoon, I have a client who is requesting a quote on a project and I need help understanding the logistics of the integration of the SOAP / PHP plugin for how it feeds into the website. I'm the only developer talking to this client and hes already told me he has to have it completed, so the chance for getting the project is very high and most likely will mean more than $300 on your end for helping me integrate it. However, even if I don't get it, the top programmer who provides the best solution in explaining this and understanding everything will STILL get $40 for their time. So, do me a favor and read through it thoroughly and provide me with the best possible solution. I'm also looking for a part-time programmer I can occasionally get some work too, so this could be a lineup for long term work. Project Details: Basically the client wants to be able to create landing pages (for example "Madonna") that has custom content written about the event or artist. Then, he needs the feed to display the tickets associated with that event or artist (in this case "Madonna"). Now the underlying question / issue is whether or not Google will index the "Madonna tickets" that are available or whether it cannot detect the feed. To be more exact: If someone searched for "New York Madonna Tickets" would my client's page come up because it can tell it shows tickets available for new york or will the feed only display when the page is loaded? I'm not as experienced with SOAP abilities so I'm trying to figure it out. Furthermore, I'd like to be able to integrate all of this into a content management system for my client so he can easily add new landing pages, which means I need a simple block of code or, preferably, an xml string that displays appropriate tickets. I'd like to use Joomla (1.0 or 1.5) so any input on how well this integration could work would be great as well. If you have any suggestions or alternatives, I'd love to hear them. So, in recap: Can datafeeds using SOAP or XML be indexed by google within the page they're feed is coming from? How easy is it to integrate the code into a CMS to create pages easier? I've included all the documentation and PDFs concerning the datafeed from TicketNetwork, so I'd appreciate you browsing through it - http://www.edango.com/ticketnet Also, I know that $300 is not that much, so if the project needs are different or the final solution is more complex, I will, of course, pay more! Other criteria: Give me your hourly rate and your project rate to do this I prefer US based, either way, I need your location and timezone A portfolio or a few references would be nice Let me know your experience and languages known I hope this was enough to get the ball rolling, give me a shout if you have any questions, Thanks!
