Plugin update notification

    Hello friend,

    How can I notify my plugin users for a new release of the code ?
    I want by myself to host the plugin. I've heard about the readme.txt, but it doesn't work.

    Probably the only way to notify users about a new release of your plugin is using the WP Directory and Subversion.
