Plugin to "count" downloads of files that aren't actually hosted on the site?

Is there a plugin that counts downloads of files that aren't actually hosted on the site?

i.e. I host the file on a different server and then it still counts the number of times it's "downloaded" or clicked?

You could use a redirect script with the urls like
Youll find dozens on any script site.

Thanks, I should have been a little more specific though. I will be using it to count the number of times a video is downloaded.

Basically, I get a lot of traffic on my blog where I share a bunch of Halo videos I've created and there is a site that allows for halo videos to be uploaded for free. So I wanted to use that site's bandwidth and not have to host the videos on my server.

    Any other ideas then perhaps?

And those video's will be embeded in your page or will you redirect the vistor to that free hoster?
If you embed it you should make it a pagecounter as it will be displayed when the page is loaded...otherwise you could use the plugin i gave you

I would send the user off to another website to download it.

Wonder if those work with WP 2.3 beta 2 though

Has anyone tried it on the latest version of WP? If not, I'll just try it and post back my results.

I just don't want to host the video files on my server when I can get them hosted elsewhere for free.
