You can make a website easily use wordpress script, which is you can get all about thats stuff from wordpress.org

Sorry for missunderstanding, My question is related to wordpress.com, using fantastico making a site is easy. Once site has been created you'd have 1st page related to posts, then optional privacy policy, contact page etc, and you'd have to post every now and then to be in the loop. You'd have side bar with post's link, widgets etc.

What I am really after is a plugin to turn my blog into a site where I don't have to make posts etc. like a normal site i.e yahoo.com.

Is there any plugin who can turn my log into a site or am I just imagining it?

I have not seen anything like you requested. But I might wrong in getting you.

 

I might be wrong too, but I read somewhere about a plugin who can do this job.
