Don't need one for that. Use your Backup software/function in your control panel on your web hosting site. You can probably find it in your FileManager or WebShell or something similar. The name differs according to which Control Panel your hosting company uses. Zeek
As far as i know you need to take backup of your all files of wp blog through cpanel (backup option) manually to your local disk. You can only take backup of DB every x number of days automatically using wp db backup plugin. DON.
yeah, the DB plugin was really good for setting time delays, I wonder if they have a simliar plugin for doing the folder. Thanks for the info!
One of the advantages of getting away from mass shared hosts like HostGator or whomever is service. Cpanel can in fact do automated backups. My host backs up all my sites on a periodic basis. No I do not control the exact frequency, but they seem to always have a version ready if I screw something up or get hacked. I actually also do a fairly regular manual back up. I have not seen a plug in for Wordpress that will back up everything like you are asking. I have seen one or two for Joomla, but that isn't helpful here. Send an email to your tech support people at your host. Ask them if they can offer a solution to automatically backup your account with them on a periodic basis.
