Hi all working on a new site in wordpress I have basically created my own theme using html 5 blank as a base line html5blank.com I have defined three widget areas and they are working fine But I want to put in a horizontal latest news/recent posts widget at the bottom of the page I want it to out put the feature image and an excerpt underneath it I need three out puts and I would like to set the category for the out puts I have seen this on a tone of sites but am having trouble finding a plugin for it Most plugin seem to be scrolling or moving between posts I want a static plugin any ideas
