I like yahoo - my pages seem to rank fairly well there... but the one thing i don't like is how SLOW they are. A new page might take two days to show up on google, but two weeks to show up on yahoo. Newer sites probably take even longer to show up there, I'm guessing.

I don't know if this still works but at one time you could submit to yahoo.ca, get indexed there and then yahoo.com would follow. I don't follow yahoo anymore so maybe this no longer works.

Yes, the backdoor I used to use was to submit a website to Yahoo Local. The main directory would follow that. I haven't tried it for awhile though.

I recon, yahoo sometime get slower than Google and MSN, But what’s going with me is something different. My site have something around 30000 pages, most of them are dynamic, Google already indexed more than 17000 pages and MSN indexed more than 3000 pages and my site is on Google & MSN SERP with many very competitive keywords. In case of yahoo, once my site had around 30,000 pages index. When I started Woking with this site it has just 14 pages on yahoo, now after six months there is 318 pages on the yahoo, but still not on SERP. What’s should be wrong with my site?

:) I recon, yahoo loose its market share, but since 2004 they did not have search market share more than 19% ever, and in month of June, 08 they get more search (11.78%) than May, 08 (11.68%). In Some country like Japan, they are still get more search than Google, so how can you predict they will disappear in 201x?
Please also replay my first question?
