Pls review my shopping site

Hello, DP member, I'd like to your comments and any suggestions for my shopping service website:www.taobaotrends.com

 

I think for shopping services you must show the products on homepage. Your site looks like a blog when the visitors come at the first time.

 

ourfaeyza is right.I saw only content content...we like delicious picture.

 

I like the website... its looks crisp and clean. A product picture would be great in the home page.
I am not happy with the fact that you bad mouth ebay. I understand that the market has diminished for ebay in china.. but please avoid bad mouthing someone else / competition to push your self ahead. It does not make sense in business strategy.
Here is some basic strategy I think you might want to consider.
1) Don't fight with Bruce lee if you are a karate yellow belt
2) Don't grab Yokohama (700 lbs of dead weight) if you want to stay afloat in deep seas
3) Don't point the finger at someone else because there are 3 pointing back at you
..... basically ... don't bad mouth ebay to get ahead.... just sell your product or service... and do it to the best of your ability.

I hope you don't take this to heart... and get pissed off. Remember that this is just my opinion.. and there are billions of people out there that think differently.

Design is nice and clean. The load time is less than amusing unfortunately. I got a 500 internal error after surfing the website for about 80 seconds.

 

I like the header and footer of your website.But not the mid part of your website.

Great look... very clean. But I agree it looks more like a blog than a shopping service site. That might not be an issue though depending on how you are planning to monetize.

 

It looks like a blog to me. I try to search for products button but unable to find so. I think products must be easily accessible to visitors as ppl don't visit shopping site to reach.

I am expecting words like, This Month Sale!, 70% Off, stuffs like that.
