I think its a great start. I like how its centered nicely and condensed. Ideas for improvement: move register and login links to the left, since I am going to assume they may be the most hit links, add some more color and for your time script at the top maybe include what time zone you are in. I noticed the time zone is at the bottom, but I didn't know that when I was viewing your site above the fold.
You have chalked out separate forums for the games. Not too sure whether that is right.Because you'll have to add or delete forums from time to time . Secondly, you could do with a CL history forum where people can discuss about erstwhile games in the CL.
I was really thinking it over. I'm gonna set up the forum with the groups (a and B) and have some seprate threads about the games. Thanks for that !!!
As a marketer I always look for an advert section I'm not that into sports so even if it was sig friendly I wouldn't visit much.
Nice and clean. However, I think that soccer topic allows to create colorful headers and interesting icons. Also, I think that you could use some green.
I was kind of thinking that it could use some green as well. However it's current layout does look clean.
