Dear singaporeboyracer,try to place an retangular text ad unit just above your content. it will do magic for your ctr.

 

but isnt that against the tos ? link nearby images

 

The color blending could be better though...

 

hmm, not sure if he just recently changed it, but i think the blending is pretty decent

doesnt really stand out, but you know its there.
I think the link unit should be placed higher, below the header

 

using pink black grey and white to blend with the website color scheme,
