Pls Help me with Sitemap

    I am starting my new product in a new website.
    I just want to add sitemap of my new website to google.
    I dont really know what to do.. Can you anyone please tell me the procedures?

    try to create the sitemap.xml by your own.
    try this demo online version for 500pages http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

    then just go to google webmaster and add your site there. verify it and then submit the sitemap.xml there.

    I did not notice that before i post this thread. That post contains all the information that i wanted... Should I have a sitemap link in my website or simply i can upload the sitemap.xml in the root folder and link to google?

    You may first try read this sitemaps article that compares and explains all sitemap file kinds.

    Create sitemap by visiting sitemap.org and following the instructions. If your website have more then 50 pages then you should use scripts to generate sitemap. Once you've created submit if from Google Central Webmaster Tools.

    One thing more, remember when you submit sitemap, check URLs in sitemap to make sure that nothings is wrong, cause spiders only follow the link, they won't find anything by their selves when sitemap has been submitted.

    No you don't need to mention your sitemap in your website or web pages, you need to submit it on search engines (google, yahoo, msn etc) webmaster account/tools.

    yeah i did that already and got my site indexed in Google and yahoo but not in bing.
    I didnt include any sitemap to bing but i have entered my website link to bing directory.
    Its almost more than a week, but still my website didnt get indexed in bing.
    If i try to search with the website name, it doenst show my site in the list..
    any thoughts?
