pls explain "pay per action"

    somebody please tell me wat "action" exactly means in pay per action....does it mean page impressions????????????

    i own a website......with google ads being displayed.....how much will i earn for 1000 impressions.......and will google pay us for clicks also??????

    Action means when someone buys the product being advertised or signs up for something.

    Pay per action means..an action has to be taken by the visitor in order for you to get paid.

    Action can be anything like

    1) make a purchase
    2)signup for a service/newsletter/RSS etc.

    Action will be defined by the advertiser and you can choose from a pool of referrals which one suits your site the best.

    hope that clarifies. in summary, its not easy anymore to earn money from only clicks..an COMPLETED action must be taken. note the word completed. even if its half-way, it wont be count for any $$$

    pay per action, you will get paid when the visitors see the ads, click it and buy the product.
