PLR On web 2.0 properties

    hi all,

    Lets say i use PLR material or duplicate content instead of original on a web2.0 property (squidoo, weebly, wordpress etc), and I get some backlinks, will the page still be indexed and gather PR?

    or will it penalized?

    Are there any disadvantages to doing this?

    if you use duplicate content, it will look like a spam effort, the pages themselves will not rank for anything, and the value of a link on those pages will be close to 0.

    Funny you asked that. I'm not using dup content - but I am summarizing my original article and putting them on numerous Web 2.0 Properties and Article directories. So far - so good.
