Hope I am in the right place...

Does anyone here use PLR articles? Do they have a place in this industry, or no?

I know a lot of people use them on a regular basis, and was hoping to learn some of the benefits, etc.

I do not know much about PLR articles although I have read some information on them. I decided against that approach as the probability of duplicate content or near duplicate content is highly likely.

I'm very curious... other than the cost, why would you use these? I've read quite a few of these and they are very close to monkey gibberish. Seriously, it was disorientating reading them. I couldn't edit them, it was re-write from scratch or leave them as they were. Just couldn't do it.

Is it just for PR or do people really get GA clicks because those are on the site?

I thought you were allowed to edit PLR articles any way you pleased... haven't tried them at all though, so I could be wrong.

I think what Glenn meant was that editing would become a complete rewrite.

To me, PLR articles are just like the articles you get for free at article websites--minus the links. They have their place, but they are miles away from top level original content.
