As long as the buyer uses a credit card, it does not matter if he does pays through paypal or directly to plimus or any other payment processor, he would have the right to go to his bank to request for a chargeback and his bank would make the final decision whether to grant the chargeback or not.

It is in Plimus and Paypal best interests to defend the customer because if they lose the chargeback claim, they will have to give up their commission too. However there are situations in which it looks hard to win and they would not fight on your behalf.

With Plimus, you can set to manually review all sales so you can do your own checks apart from Plimus checks to determine if you want to trust the customer or not. This option gives you the final say.
