I just sold one of my first sites and I made a decent profit so I was just curious what one of my latest sites would gather if I put it up for auction. Pligg.com is the home to a CMS that is becoming really popular. Some of the other developers were curious to find out if the domain would be worth (we're open source) and I decided to spend some of my domain-buying cash on a Sedo appraisal. I have yet to hear back from sedo, but I wanted a second opinion from my favorite web developer forum .
Well, I've been a fan of Pligg for a while, and if we're talking about selling the entire site, all content, domain, everything, I'll probably say mid $x,xxx... unless there's any revenue coming in.
Since the domain already has incoming traffic and existence appraising just the domain will always take into consideration the website that is on Pligg.com. Selling the whole 'business' would bring you a very nice sum since you have a software available to download -- offer the rights for that software and you got yourself a very nice deal
