    Hi,

I need help of some experienced people, I have seen a domain name its like
" word1-word2.com " now "word1 word2" on google keyword tool gives over 8,00,000 searchers per month, the competition for this keyword is low => this is a great domain if a keywrd rich website is developed over this domain. (am I right?)

Now my problem -- the domain is registered by a person 3 years back and he still owns it, its just a domain no website is developed, I am assuming he is not interested in developing a website coz its with him for 3 years now.

I want to buy this domain, how should I ask him? I have his cell number and he lives the same city where I am living. If i ask him straight he might inflate the price so how should I convince him to sell that domain to me at a right price.

Please advice, aslo what should be the price of such a domain

word1 word2 is getting 800K Exact or Broad searches per month ? Also look for the CPC for that keyword and make an offer. For domain transfer use any escrow service for not getting scammed.

You can contact the owner and see if he is willing to sell, if he asks you why just simply tell him you you like the domain name and that you want to build a simple blog. If he has not developed it in years, he probably will consider letting it go.

ask him if he has any plans for the domain name that if not you'd like to use it for a school project. If he doesn't return your call then he wants money so play low ... is it worth $200 or more?. It all depends but get in contact first.

I've been in this kind of situation years ago and the result was that domain owner asking for a very high amount. Perhaps I should think more on how to get people desired domain name and charge a comission for it :p
