It depen of what kind of website you want to make . as it seem to be your first website experiance it could be a good idea to buy a script this way its already coded

There are popular hosting sites where you can buy hosting and in most of the hosting plans there is free domain included on it. The popular hosting sites are godaddy, bluehost, cloudhost. I couldn't type the live links here because I am a new comer in this website. YOu can go to google and type these words and you would go to the websites.

You can go to one of these websites and choose the hosting that you would feel good. If you are new to coding and web development, there are options where you can choose a template and start building your website.

I've seen this thread before. There are tons of hosting sites. The only difference for most is the price.

 

Hi Ethan - Good question, but still a bit of a broad question

If you want a website that you will use as a business, ie earn an income, then the below will help:

1. Buy Your domain from Go Daddy, your hosting from Host Gator ( these two come highly recommended)
2. Get your self a Free product which has value, and a great read.
3. Build your self a simple one page squeeze page, offering the Free Ebook.
4. get your self an Aweber account.

Put it all together, and Presto, You have a Business Engine, all complete and ready to go.

Now just concentrate on driving traffic to the site, seriously dont expect to start earning $thousand per month straight away, its BS.

I have an excellent step by step video series that will guide you in the building of a website. But, I cannot use the link now, since I am new in the forum. I think reading the forum news, it looks like you have to wait some time before posting any links or websites address.

 

This is great advice trying to work on a new web page myself!

 

Take a look at Wordpress, its real easy to use and install and has a wealth of resources around it.
