Pleased to meet you, my name is Mike.

I have joined DP for two (or more) reasons. The first one is to start building an online profile as a part of my business plan, the second is to help others achieve their objectives.
I chose DP as the first forum to join in this respect as I have used information I found here in the past that proved to be valuable. I am sure you have heard of the 90-10-1 (as I am new here I can't link out, but google "90-10-1" and there is a nice page on useit that introduces the concept) theory of the internet, well I am no longer content lurking and consuming the resources left by others, and feel that I know enough to potentially leave behind something useful myself. So here I am joining the 10 while building my own website to become a 1.
Personally I am an Internet Developer, working on a couple of projects at the moment, one a website, one an application.

Mike, I just read the "90-10-1" that you were referring to. Interesting read and is sad but true. I myself would like to at the very least maintain a 10... Due to time constraints, being a 1 around here might be hard... lol
