Please, your ideas with my header..looks too empty

Hi!

This site i´m making for my local bingo is almost finished, but i think the header looks too empty, but i have no idea what to put in it? Maybe a picture in the background or something.

Use gradient color or slant texture for background header, it'll make the header not empty

 

I'd have to agree with bnandika. adding a gradient background to your header would be a nice touch and fill up the emptiness.

I'm not sure it's that empty. You need to be careful not to let it become too busy. It's a good clean design currently.

If you really don't like the white space though you could maybe use some of the stars & balls that you've already got - but put them in as a watermark under the main heading, in very washed out colours.

Alternatively go with the gradient colour in the background as already suggested - but that could make it overdone quite quickly if you're not careful with the colours you use.

 

change the background , not use pure color, use some light color images with light color patern

 

I agree. But the color scheme is just fine to me.

 

It looks really good to me. If anything I would remove the top red horizontal line that separates your header image from the navigation bar. This will help give the entire header some white space and also avoid making the design look very compartmentalized.

 

Thanks for the suggestions! I tried things you said, but anyway round i looked at the header, it still looked the best without anything Afterall it did not look so empty. Maybe i will but the gradient br in it, but don´t know yet. But anyway thanks for your help..I´ve said many times and i will say it again DP is the best forum ever..you always get help if wanted
