I like the header.. simple and good looking...but i dont like the violet color..

 

first off if this is ur first site then it nice working

but here some notes in design for developing ur skills

background ,violet color , flash earth planet try change those and nice header

 

The header is nice but the rest of the template does not look professional.
You should get a professional theme to make the site look more attractive.

 

Seems that there is some overlapping of images and the arrangement seems to be very random. The font looks quite big to me as well. Maybe try to source for different template could help on this.
