Please rate 1 - 10 Also if you can please try with a browser that uses flash and one that does not use flash. Mayb try it on your IE and Firefox? I need to know if everything is working on all browsers and settings... (Please note that everything is supposed to be in the center of the screen, not vertically but horizontally) Thank you! The website is www.biteout.ca
Ok. Design is good but red is getting on my eye. You need to finish the site, then publish it on the internet
nice site, like the look of black on red . But it's not seo or accessibility friendly. Google can now read flash and index it but really you want to be including a non flash page so that people without flash can view your site. Or at least add some links to the bottom of the main page so that they can skip the beginning and go straight to the inside sites - also helps you push pr to those pages like: http://www.biteout.ca/vernon.php Code (markup): from 1/10 I'd say 7 because of the small problems above, fix them and it can easily be an 8 with some good keyword rich content on your site.
That you for the reply's. The red is not so bad once it goes on to the white pages so I think I am going to keep it this way for the time being but good suggestion for the future! Also Slincon thank you for your inputs. However I already have a page that it auto redirects to if the user does not have flash. But great idea on adding tags to the flash for google purposes! Any others?
I personally really like the red and black color scheme. Its a great start, I would like to see it when it is all finished. I wouldn't worry about the site being user friendly by google. Your site will rank high just by how well designed it is because people will be amazed. Great Work
Good choice of colors for a site of that nature...the pages are layed out well, nice and clean. Contrary to what JR suggested I would focus on the site being Google friendly, well designed sites that amaze people don't exactly rank high unless they get tons of traffic. You're not likely to get tons of traffic off the bat so do yourself a favor and utilize Google to the fullest extent. The stronger your foundation is the more successful your site will be.
Yeah, I agree with you that it should be google friendly. Make sure you add keywords description etc. I'm just saying that he shouldn't have a problem with people bouncing off of his site. As long as he markets correctly, this site should do very well.

I understand that google and flash don't work well together but even without flash the home page is going to only have 4 words.... I doubt that would do any good in the google search since none of the 4 words have anything to do with food. So I just decided to go with flash
