Please View My Forum And Give Opinion

Hi,

My partner just started a forum and we offer great incentives but the growth seems to be very slow. Can you please check it out and let me know what seems to be the problem. We have been around for 2 months but the activity is very slow considering that our partners pay per effort post and even offer Air Miles. Boring ad driven forums with bad focus, color scheme, and layout.

 

Increase post count, new logo and less sub-forum.

 

Forums should have a max of 16 sections & your skin theme is way to plain it needs to be jazzed up

 

agreed. So many forums there. it should be minimized. theme is not attractive.

 

I really don't understand why would you put advertisements on a new forum?

 

honestly, your forum is too boring - too many boards, too many ads.Somebody like me will not join.

you maybe need to change colors of ur forum

1. Cut out the ads. I know you gonna say how can I earn money from the site, but be sure that your site are stable enough and got a fix traffic and then you can put your ads in.
2. your skin color made me think about 60 years old boring professor. Change!
3. Create a banner. The site that got a logo will makes the site more reliable and people will easy to recognize you. Your site identity still vbulletin logo please change.
4. tons of forums in your site of cause will bring more people who have different in interest in but you got to make your stand point. Focus more with your topics, you cant just create a "google forums" all in 1 site. If people interested in camera they will go to the camera forums not you. So make you point. Example -- digital point forums create for people who want to make money from the internet or how to build a website. So find your niche.
5. Somehow I dont feel good about your slogan "you have got questions,we have got answers" you are not the one who give the users answers but users give users answers, maybe you can change it to something like a community for tech lover or something. It sound better than way and user feel like they are in a community with a warm welcome, not just only users talk to admin.

As mentioned above, many times

Just a boring forum, boring colours, poor fon and general presentation. The ads are way over the top and aimed at an audience that is not there.....so why? Lets generate traffic and get good flow and then re-intriduce the ads gently.....bit by bit.

Until then, its doomed.
