Back in the PPC game after a couple year hiatus. Working on a new campaign and testing the waters again. My first couple adgroups with Adwords gives me an estimate of 200+ clicks a day within my budget...excited...After a couple days 12 impressions, no clicks. Maxed out daily budget. Reporting terribly slow. Interface terribly slow. Exact same adgroups on Yahoo, 100 clicks within a few hours. On track to meeting daily estimations. Reporting much more real time. 50% on CPC, than what I expected. Used to focus for on adwords for the higher volume. Now I cant figure out whats going on. Obviously I know there is more potential for traffic with adwords, but I just cant figure out what the problem is. Any insight on the changes within the last few years with adwords that might explain this discrepancy?
On your speed issues, unfortunately that's the major bug-bear with the new UI. If you use editor though for bulk work the slowness is well worth all the extra tools. The major change for you will be Quality Score - this'll be what's affecting your account so much - type Adwords Quality Score into G and find out as much as you can...
