    Hi there,

    - The high placement of advertising in the template doesn't make the blog feel legitimate
    - (In Firefox) there is a large empty space above the search bar in the right-hand column, surely this could be used effectively?
    - I like that you're using icons (...doctorblue/images/date.gif) but it is the same icon for every post - can you mix it up?
    - Consider adding a tag cloud, a RSS link and I would recommend installing Google Analytics to track traffic

    I also don't like the high placement of the adsense block.

    I am also struggling with my site design over ad placement at http://www.breednet.net, so I feel your pain.

    In FF 3.0.15 Your logo text "Mesothelioma Information" is touching the left border of your top header.

    Here:

    You can try adding a couple of spaces before the first quote of the logo text.

    Your Google ads box should be centered.

    Also you can try changing you background color to something else as you have too many different blues going on.
