Please tell me what you think of the basic layout so far of my site

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering what people think about my header and footer for the site i am currently producing.

Non of the links work and there i no content yet, just wanna know about the header and footer, thanks.

Make the ball smaller. Otherwise looks OK

 

Use text for the links instead of images, so they can be indexed by search engines.

 

The design does not look impressive at all. The image quality is very low and the text in the header does not really stand out from the background. You should make it more according to the Web 2.0 standards. And the ball is WAY too big...it's too distracting. You should also change the font of the footer and make it simpler....remember the simpler, the better it is. And don't make the links as simply texts otherwise people will not know they are links...add some background to it or make them drop down.

I hope this helps...i know that the review is a bit rough...but i was just being honest.
