Can someone please explain why people refer to this in their threads? And while i'm asking stupid questions why do people go on about alexa? What does it really tell you? Please read my signature before going all 'techy' on me.
technorati.com is a blog search engine at heart, though it's also a general 'web-site about blogs' too. If you've got a blog it's a good idea to register it there, and ping updates. Alexa gives you lots of info about web-sites - the least reliable, but probably the most quoted, are it's statistics on a site's traffic - people quote it when they're selling a site, but it's a bit of a ropey indication of the worth of a site.
