Please tell me what does a "breakout session" mean?

    It is when a bunch of people spread into a circle on a dance floor and a person gets into the middle and breakdances.

    At conferences there is usually a main session that includes everyone. This is followed by simultaneous 'breakout sessions' of smaller groups dealing with more specific topics. As they occur at the same time you have to choose which you wish to attend.
