    first of all i want to say in seo read some articles then you will get an idea little bit and in google so many information you will get. seo like a little bit tough but once if you understand you can rock.
    in seo so many steps is there once you created site check html errors, on page seo, then you submit to google search engine and see after some days reports then according to that you have to plan .

    any how before doing think then you submit

    if you optimize site for .com then it will rank well for .co.uk but not the other way round. if you are targeting UK then you will definitely rank well on .co.uk provided you have done good SEO and continue offpage activity on high page rank sites.
