? You just compared apples with space heaters...

Is your education on different methods of transferring information that elementary that you do not know that the Bible is an astronomical book?

This feels like when a professor was yelling at the majority of my history class for not knowing when the Peace of Augsburg was signed...How can you be in that class without knowing?

How can you have passed puberty without knowing how to read a holy text to get the esoteric information that is SCIENTIFIC but riddled with poetic magic-talk to confuse people Just Like You :)

so you have been reduced to just making shit up now then? Calling a book which claims the earth is flat an "astronomical book" is as ludicrous as claiming islam is a religion of peace. Have words lost all meaning to you people?

But before i kick the shit out of your frankly insulting disregard for words and their definitions let me kick the shit out of your previous facile point. You claimed that the existence of seasons is some how evidence for a god and that if one believes in seasons they should, by no doubt using contrived ad hoc reasoning, also believe in a god. Why? Why would the existence of seasons, something which is a result of the earths tilted axis, lead one to conclude that there is a god?

I don't really know the demographics of satanists, but I do believe there is a huge difference between the theistic satanists and those that don't actually believe in satan. For modern satanists, it's just something I don't understand, to build a religion with rules around nothing.

The theistic satanists though, I've done a bit more research on. I disliked them to begin with, but now even more. Look at this, from the website of j~*~o*~y*~o*~f*~s*~a*~t*~a*~n(dot)com...it leads to 6~*6*~6*b~*l*~a*~c*~k*~s*~u*~n(dot)com

(take out all the asterisks and squiggles) I'm sorry, I know it's annoying how I wrote the URL's, but I don't want them to find DP. If you go to the second site, on the homepage they dedicate it to say how much they hate the Jewish people, to a lesser degree the Christians, and they've actually dedicated their site to Heinrich Himmler.

Indeed, all Satanists (except Modern Satanists) tend to have a strong belief in Satan along with hatred of other groups, ritualistic killing of animals, etc.

Modern Satanism isn't really a religion so much as a set of rules to live by - there aren't any God involved, there is no belief in Satan - it is more about committing when people would call "sins" but are in fact normal human behaviors - such as sex. Heh.

I do agree with you though Rebecca, Theistic Satanists/Traditional Satanists are horrible nutjobs who hate everyone. >.<'
