I like it. Simple, clean look and the colors go well together.

I don't like it.

1. I'm not a fan of the puke green color.

2. Unless my computer just isn't showing you logo I don't understand why the main body of the site starts half way down the page. Perhaps, try a valign="top"

3. 'Trix' is "cute" but why not just use the correct spelling?

4. I like the background image on the longer pages with the jack of spades. That actually is blending in quite nice.

5. Instead of, "click here to read more," for every link in the poker school why not just making each heading clickable...

Search engine will like this better as well. It has a variety of targeted keywords.

Here's my thoughts

1. I like the Ace and Jack background as well.

2. I'm not sure about the colour scheme... I can't suggest anything better
though coz I suck at choosing colour schemes!

3. The menu - It functions well and I like it in general but I don't like the appearance too much. The blue doesn't go with the green (brown?!?!), the fact that they have the square area behind the text which are of different sizes (due to the word length) makes it look a little messy in my opinion.

Consider changing the color scheme. And also the header images looks rather pixelated.

it's a good start for a good site but as mentioned with another header
if you want to keep the color scheme add some effect to it (lightings, shadow, etc ...)

I have done some adjustments that you adviced me to.
* I have changed the link's in the poker school and made each heading clickable.
* I have made some changes to the logo.

As for the color scheme, i am not sure that i want to change that...sins the color's are taken from the logo.

But i am not so good with colors, so i will wait and see what more people thing about the colors before i make up my mind....

And I really appresiate your opinion, the way to learn is to listen to more experienced designers....

I don't see that, here the arrow does change into a hand when it move over clickable text....

 

On my laptop the color looked gold and the blue and gold worked well together. On my PC however, it does look green.

I think it's quite well done. The only thing that bothers me is that the woman looks rather weird. That's just my opinion though.
