Please take a look at my website

    I have been working on trying to get my website www.Insuranceguarddog.com rank higher. I am only working to try to rank with local keywords but so far I cant seem to get past page 13 on google. So far I have done social bookmarking, social networking, blog syndication, submitting articles to serveral article directories, updating my blog that is connected to my website. For some reason alot of the links are not showing up but maybe I am using the wrong place to check my links. If someone could take a look at my website for me and point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. The internet competition for my area isnt very strong and I know they are not doing any SEO but they still stay at the top.

    I think it may help if you:

    1. Add lots of SEO articles for your key phrases for the different types of "Mississippi auto insurance" you sell. You probably need at least 2 or 3 articles using each keyword / phrase at about 5 times.

    2. Have you done SEO homework, to learn how many people search for certain Mississippi-related insurance types? Maybe go to Google AdWords & use the free keyword tool to discover the amount of demand for your keywords and/or if you have the best keywords. Ex. Maybe more people search Google for:
    -- "auto insurance in Mississippi"
    -- "car insurance for Clarksdale"
    -- "cheap insurance for car Mississippi"

    A lot of times, misspelled words and bad sentences rank higher than you'd think ;-)

    I just dont understand, the more I work it seems I slip backwards on google. I know your rank will fluctuate as google decides on your website but it seems I should go up every once in a while. I am I doing to much link building and article submission, could this cause me to go backwards?

    One of my competitors website never adds backlinks, submits articles, or even has a blog but is always on page one. What is the deal and I am doing everything but have slipped back to 19
