Taken from the International Action for a Free Burma Facebook page: If anyone would like to join me on the London event then I will see you there!
Here are the photos from the Free Burma march through central London last staturday (6th oct). Approach to the Houses of Parliament. Monks chant and crowd joins in, lots of press up front. I can only post 4 photos on this forum... sorry. Here is a zip file containing hi-res versions of all the photos from the day. Earlier in the day a delegation of monks met with prime minister Gordon Brown. By the end of the event there were 10,000 people there apparently. Which is great! I didn’t think there would even be 100! Glad I was wrong. I hope the Junta were watching closely.

I'm afraid they killed many monks, and some got dumped in the jungle "Executed: The body of a Buddhist monk floats in a river" The most senior official to defect so far, Hla Win, said: "Many more people have been killed in recent days than you've heard about. The bodies can be counted in several thousand" -source ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning. Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom." -Ludwig von Mises
