Hi guys, As most of you already know I am doing my best to develop www.mobile.am website of mine. I am going to put there RSS feeds for mobile phones One of the RSS would be latest 5 phones for each of the brand One of the RSS would be latest 10 phones for each of the brand Also I would like to have an RSS feed that gives some brief info for a mobile phones, which specifications should I put first??? I mean what should be included in the RSS so that users can have brief info for phones on their sites Thank you for your ideas in advance
Are you reading the posts, or you are just typing I am not asking to review the site I am asking WHAT TO PUT IN RSS?
I think you should create a feed about customer feedback on all of the phones and makes available, phone product review feed, phone price list feed or phone accessories feed. Just a couple of ideas off the top of my head. Good luck
yes, I was thinking about the user opinions, but never thought of prices or accessories I'll try to find a feed on that. But I also want to make the content, some of the content available for other webmasters and want to create an RSS feed to help others display the content on their sites, so what about that, I don't want to give them the whole content, but at least some of it
I promote gambling, every type of gambling.. lots of gambling.. ok I'm sure you get the idea hehe.. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that gambling for cell phones/PDA's is just starting to hit the market, it seems as though it's going to bebig, and you have the perfect site to get involved and make a bit of cash.. As for RSS feeds, since I don't do much else with phones, I'm sure I'm not much help... soooo .. here's what I use my phone for.. Games, lots of games.. (intro to.. how to play.. review of.. *shrug* texting ofcourse (but i doubt that would be useful in an RSS) Ring tones.. whats new.. where are they cheap etc.. Pictures.. Doubt I was real helpful, but ya looked like ya needed some response in here ~LadyH
I didn't need just a response, but cooperation wouldn't hurt tell me what ideas you have and how we can cooperate
RSS is for news. When something new is added to your site, a new phone, for example, let it be known using RSS feed. If you plan to add user comments, do not add them to the feed. And you don't need to make 2 feeds one with 5 models, second with 10 models. One will be enough. Since new models don't come out very often, I vote for 5. Put this information: Name, dimensions, display type, Operating System. That's all. Detailed will be on the site. And may be put a picture. Hope my thoughts were useful!
