I have seen this code : <meta name="revisit-after" content="7 days"> instead of this can i put <meta name="revisit-after" content="1 days"> so that it can come everyday as its good to be cached eveyday ?? if yes, then y did the developer do 7 days at the first place,, was he out of his mind or am i missing something here , please suggest OR if 1 days is not correct what code is best to have the website open for google to crawl all the time !! Is this the right thing to do?? please help thanks in advance.
if your site is REAL and good and you create unique content every day then your site will get visited daily hundreds or thousands of times by G - depending on how many pages you have. there is NO need for such oldfashioned meta tags - Google revisits sites according to site's value and activity plenty of times if you follow above! on my medium size site - i get 1000+ googlebot visits per DAY. without any special tags - and some 1500+ Mediapartners-Google visits/day. just stop worrying about bots and use those worry minutes to work more and create more unique content. an empty dry flower without any nectar never attracts honeybees - a flower flooded with daily fresh nectar never needs to advertise to attract honeybees ...... same for bots and sites
I believe the same, keep adding good content, dont add junk content for the sake of doing so, but if its good and useful it will bring back the se spiders and visitors.
