    Hi,

    I'm planning to buy new laptop. Budget is 50K INR.

    I need one to make money online, play games like Hitman 2 and above and Half Life 2. These games should run smoothly.

    I'm doing my Masters so need good looking and above 15" laptop, because I'll need to prepare and show presentations and project work.

    What laptop would you suggest?

    I think Dell is the manufacturer which gives much value for your money.
    The Dell Studio series has almost all features you want.
    Its stylish and also power packed.
    Other wise Sony Vaio and laptops from HP are also a good option but much costlier.
    I wont recommend Acer,Compaq or Zenith, they usually involve a lot maintaenance.

    Buy Dell, it's good. The overall performance is good and they even give good warranty even on the physical damage

    Sony Vaio is the best laptop in my opinion!
    Latest vaio series come with inbuilt web cam and a fingerprint scanner below the cursor keys which is the latest technology.

    It is about 55000 so 5000 more!
    That's why i suggested him that if he would like to spend another 5000 it is the best one to buy and the features are really good!

    if i suggest u thn dont buy DELL. have u read the review's? Dell heats up too quickly when ever a high process software or as u are a games i think, it will heat up very fast.

    as a laptop user i have some recommendation on laptop in brand wise:

    no1. lenovo / IBM
    no2. HP
    no3. sony
    no4. compaq

    i would highly recommand lenovo/IBM. if u can't then go for HP. sony is a bit expensive. compaq is kind of best in budget laptop.

    Go for Dell Studio. :)

    Its simply superb. Along with a good quality 2 mega pixel camera.
    Its available in just around Rs.44K.
