Please someone help!

Hey guys. Im installing a video script on my dedicated server and i need to ask how to install some things so my scripts works.


These are the things that i need to install on the server

6) FFmpeg (http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu)
7) FFmpeg-PHP (http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net)
8) Mplayer + Mencoder (http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html)
9) flv2tool (http://inlet-media.de/flvtool2)
10) Libogg + Libvorbis (http://www.xiph.org/downloads)
11) LAME MP3 Encoder (http://lame.sourceforge.net)


Can someone tell me where to install them and how?? I have a dedicated server so i have access to everything.

Get a server admin to install them for you.

 

Yeah i have to pay for that. I want to learn how to do it so i know for other times when i need it.

I think you are asking for lessons. And remember not all lessons are free of cost. I think if you want professional support you need to spend money for this. Not that much you have to pay to your server support though.

 

Yes. You can hire someone to help you install these things. You can post your request on freelance marketplace like this one.

 

First of all what OS on your dedicated server ?
The installation of software very depends of Operating System, even of version.

 

Yeah i thought it was something simple, but it isn't. I payed my host to do it and its all good.

You mean this can not be installed by it self like a php it has to be installed by the server?

If you have WHM Xtra, they just added ffmpeg installation that adds all needed components at the click of a button.
