I'm trying to get port forwarding to work so that I can use uTorrent properly. At the moment I'm getting about 3kB/ps if I'm lucky.

I connect to my modem through a DI-524 wireless router. I've followed these instructions twice now with the same result:
    http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/DI-524/Utorrent.htm

When I go to test if the port is forwarded correctly I get this message:
Can someone please help me get this uTorrent working properly, it's driving me crazy!

If your connection goes through a modem AND a router then you have to make sure that the modem is not in routermode.

You can check this by checking the (internal) ip adress of the modem and routers. If one is 10.0.x.x and the other one is 192.x.x.x then they are both in routermode.

I have this problem with a friend of mine and some tech told me that I either have to disble the "router mode" on the router or I would have to turn the wireless router into an AP (acces Point). I haven't tried to fix it yet though.
