I'd like to hear some honest opinions about my new site Home Delivery DVDs I'm open to suggestions, I have plans for more content at some point, but that's all I got for now. thanks!
It works for me.. now. Review: - Love the interface design, very clean and crisp (great use of gradients) - I like the sofa graphic! Adds a lot to the overeall design - Adsense ads are blended well - I'm not too big on the site's name on the header though.. (it's good for seo though!) Maybe try adding an underline under the font so it stands out more?
> 8everything: Thanks a lot. I can't claim the design as it was originally an opensource design from oswd.org. I tweaked it quite a bit to make it work for my site and the sofa actually came with the design! I also wasn't sure what to do with the header, but tried to give it a outline feel with each subpage getting the site name and the service name instead of dvd. Now I just have to expand the content and get it some traffic...
I think that is a bit to much AdSense oriented, and I have expiriences before that people run out from sites that looks like bunch of advertising links, so just polish a bit
signorm68> funny you should say that. I've found that the adsense doesn't convert very well anyways so was thinking about changing some things anyways.
I was shocked when I clicked on "catalog" and was taken to a totally different site. This may be problematic for some folks.
Hey - Looks good. Slight lack of content at the moment, but assume that will increase over time. Good Luck
I agree. It's a bit of a placeholder at the moment. A crude integration of an Amazon astore. At some point in the near future, I plan on doing a full integration and hopefully making it a little more "same".
