Please review website that makes $100-200 per month and share your ideas

I am the owner of a blog www.financialjesus.com

I currently have about 30 000 visitors per month and am pulling an income of around 100 to 200 dollars per month.

I'd like to get your opinions on the website - what can I make better? Do you think there are some means of monetizing the site I am not using?

Does the site feel slow to load?

Any other comments are also welcome!

It already looks good. I think you have to focus more on promotion and link building.

 

I really like it, the content is pretty decent and the layout is good. Although 1 thing I don't like is the all too prominent subscribe box on the right hand side. I think that it should more or less match the theme you have chosen and not be too imposing.

SOme other Templates from blogger can be modified for this .. i Do it for my blogs. the content is good .. keep it up

The idea behind the prominent subscribe box is to get the people to subscribe but I guess you are right - i can make it look more like a part of the site and still have people subscribe!

 

Well people wouldn't like to see a shoe on top of the site....

Well, I am having problems monetizing my website...
There doesn't seem to be any affiliate offers that convert with my traffic.
I get about 1000 visits/day but it seems to be the kind of traffic that doesn't want to pay for things...

If anyone has ideas about how to monetize, let me know!

With that many visitors Roman you should definately be making more than a few hundred a month. It's time to up the ante and start building a list by offering something of value in exchange for the visitors email address - not just a subscribe. Build relationships, syndicating others content and position yourself in the new recommendation age - this is my speciality - strategic positioning. Plus you use thesis - way cool!
