I am unfamiliar with sites like the spires site .. so I didn't look at this closely. As for your Heart Rate Watch company ... I would move the blog to the root, and incorporate the products around and inside the content. Blogs will help ping and bring traffic, but they are not bringing traffic to your main site .. and it looks like you are just rehashing any old content to make it look original so you can ping. Your products look just like advertisements on the blog and the blog is lower class in my opinion with a stale template. I would move the blog to the root and when you write content - write about heart rate watches and especially the ones that are listed on that page. I don't have the answers with store sites, but I'm currently trying to get a few of my own in my own blog network. Good Luck
