Please review this site www.asciisystems.com. Suggestions to increase traffic to this site are welcome
I would recommend seeing if the customer's would be interested in providing a back link for you. Get the company known in all the forum's like DP NP SP etc. Have you done a press release? Possibly more front page content that describe's your business and offering's more. The site's all look high quality and well done! A little OT but Alt tags on your images? and a favicon? Good luck!
Thanks all for reviews. I culd not find details for ads on cheapadsite.com and Thanks routed11 for your suggestions. I have not done a press release so far, but could you suggest a site where i can issue free press release, prfereably free
Hey Chawlars, your site looks great! very professional looking. I don't know if you want this or not but maybe you could center the site? I see all your titles are the same are you going to change it? that could help with some traffic Overall the site is appealing to the eyes. Hope it helps.
I'm not sure if http://www.prweb.com/ is free, I've never done a PR. I just looked at your site again, that is a really nice and professional looking site. What CMS drive it? The one thing I just noticed that is just my personal pref. I prefer centered pages over left justified, but everyone I'm sure has different tastes. If prweb isn't free you could google up "free press release" or something of the like. Have a good one!
murphman....i have a mac and i use safari and it works perfectly...i also have friends that have macs and it works perfectly on theirs also....it may be your computer......chawlers what do you mean you couldn't find information?
Hi Knicks21, I replied to your PM too, today when i loaded the page, it was working fine, but that day may be internet connection was bad, it did not load. Will get back to you soon
Right (or all) background color may be changed not to eat up top menu. And quick contact form does not draw attention because it looks like disabled (disabled input box font color looks same). Portfolio images may be optimized more to fasten image downloads. Home, Contact and Sitemap icons may become more bright to draw attention. The arrow near the "Terms & Conditions" link may be removed, it does not have any mission / usage. And the whole footer menu and text (T&C, Contact us, and copyright) may not be full image and image map, image maps are out of fashion I think Title may not be started and ended with "::" character. Title and title keyword depth are most important things for search engines, as you should know better than me. And you can split style sheets, I mean you can create and use seperated CSS file to decrease page size. Also JavaScripts are same as style sheets, may be seperated as JS file to decrease page size. And you can define CSS class for some tags which are using "style" parameter to decrease page size too. Good luck to increase your traffic
I would take care of the overall layout a bit. You've got to watch out not to have look like one of those automatically generated advertising sites. You know, like when you enter a wrong URL or something, then sometimes a nice layout comes up, but filled only with advertising links. I somewhat thought your site might remember me of that. Just my 2ct! I love to see all these requests for project reviews and stuff. I have created a board recently for exact that reason under: ebusiness.vipedio.com And I wonder how to get such great projects and people to be post in my forum ? I am eager to review every site that's posted there and I got a group of specialists with a special focus on site reviews there as well. How long does it take to build a community of, let's say, around a 100 people (that's fair enough to start - for me!) - Well, if you guys would register, I am sure I have the number by tomorrow What I wanted to offer is: I am always looking for great comments and I thought I would make a project out all these ideas here and call it sort of a "all together project" - where I will add almost anything that you guys request and suggest - so we could try various advertising strategies, things that you've miss somewhere else - just about anything that makes sense. It's not too hard to let it go on it's own as soon as I pass the magic 100 member mark - but it's a bloody path getting to that 100 users. So I would be really happy about all your ideas and comments on how to get this project started. And please, this is in NO WAY a replacement to this forum - this here rocks solid. It would take me a life long to build up something at the size of that here. I will keep you guys posted on a frequent basis and we could see where the actual common pitfalls are, what's a must must, stuff like that. I will keep a log of all the actions and ideas - which could be put together into a small PDF or something. Like "How to build a small community in 20 days" You get the idea. Oh god, how stupid this sounds. I am over twenty, so sorry if it sounds like a 15 year old I just want to get an idea why some people build huge forums out of nothing in a year, while others run a board for about 5 years with a maximum user count of 10. RFC! (oh and to clarify my position a bit, I am quite experienced with other sorts of advertising and stuff, I had more than 30.000 visitors on my blog and 24.000 on WhatIsThatFile.com within a few days - but it's just TOTALLY different for a forum, I guess)
Looks corporate and professional but don't like your color scheme. It looks like one of those templates you can purchase online, personally i had to leave your site within a minute. Im also not a fan of sites that don't dimension properly and waste browser space. If your optimizing for a particluar resolution then atleast balance the page (eg. center it or dimension certain portions to cover up the blank areas) But nice work getting that far
Hi Hdogn, Romanmittermayr and liquidboy Great suggestions, really good. Thanks to all of you and others too who contributed suggestions earlier. WOuld try to improve the site on the suggested lines in next few days Thanks once again to all,
